Business System Analyst – Level 5.



Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Information Systems, the Business Systems Analyst under general supervision formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combined with a basic understanding of business systems and CSI requirements.  The incumbent will conduct analysis of business and user needs, document requirements, and revise existing logic, as necessary.


What you will achieve in this role:
·         Analyse and modify procedures to solve complex problems, considering existing systems capabilities/limitations and business needs.
·         Analyse user needs and convert them into business requirements/software specifications that follow the company’s objectives.
·         Provide a technical guidance concerning the business implications of the application of various systems and their integration.
·         Participate in daily monitoring of data synchronization between different systems and eliminate the errors occurred.
·         Analyse  any issues/errors discovered during daily monitoring and suggest features/root cause in order to eliminate them.
·         Create and automate reports based on client requests.
·         Keep systems documentation up to date.
·         Organize and execute testing activities.
·         Assist with production support issues and production releases.
·         Assist with additional DB scripting and coding support.
·         Support  other processes as required to accomplish department’s mandate.

 

What you will bring to this role:


·         University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems
·         3+ years work experience in systems analysis, business analysis, workflow and dataflow analysis and modeling
·         3+ years in a production and support environment
·         Experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL
·         Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Visio, Project Plan, etc.)
·         Strong technical and analytical skills with an ability to adapt to new technologies
·         Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
·         Strong data modeling skills
·         Solid oral and written communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
·         Ability and desire to work within a cross-functional team environment with people from multiple business units
·         Understanding of basic project management techniques
·         Ability to manage competing demands; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
·         Ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality

Customer Process Administrator (Level 3)

Customer Process Administrator - Toronto

Position Overview:

In this position you will be responsible for setting up products within our database system. Provide ongoing support for our designation programs and general office administrative duties.

What you will achieve in this role:
·         Working closely with various departments to gather the necessary information required to complete the product setup.
·         Using the information to create the products on our database system.
·         Testing to ensure each product setup is accurate.
·         Attending meetings and ensuring deadlines are met.
·         Providing support to the designation team.
·         Follow up on calls and emails pertaining to designation audits.
·         Provide support to the administrative team.

 

What you will bring to this role:

·         A college diploma in business or equivalent.
·         2+ years relevant experience in a service organization.
·         Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook email.
·         Accountability and dependability.
·         Strong customer and team focus.
·         Good verbal and written communication skills.

Instructional Designer (Level 5)-Internal position


Instructional Designer - Toronto
Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Instructional Designer is accountable for the design of learning and performance-focused solutions, for initiatives across CSI that support growth. The Instructional Designer will demonstrate expert knowledge and application of adult learning principles, curriculum design, and appropriate instructional design methods to the development of learning products.

This position requires its holder to create instructionally sound design documents in terms of structure, flow, content coverage and complexity level, which is achieved by defining the learning objectives by leveraging learning needs assessment for job/task analysis, and learner environment analysis findings.

Responsibilities include: scoping project objectives, understanding expectations of target audiences, conducting needs analysis, defining the learning objectives, developing curriculum plans, developing detailed learning plans, designing learning programs, creating and articulating work packages for content developers, writing instructional material, creating draft exam blueprints, and evaluation strategies.

What you will bring to this role:

·         5+ years of progressive working experience in the field of Instructional Design.
·         Bachelor of Arts degree or comparable credential.
·         Post secondary education in instructional design, adult education, or related field.
·         Expertise in needs assessment, research, design and evaluation.
·         Proven proficiency in utilizing instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills to meet the needs of the target audience.
·         Demonstrated ability to develop detailed design documents and storyboards.
·         Maintains knowledge of latest trends, developments and best practices in educational design and delivery field and brings these best practices to solutions.
·         Ability to research, formulate, and articulate a vision for the future of learning programs.
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and familiarity with graphic design elements and software that support the instructional design process (e.g. Visio).
·         Demonstrated ability in building effective relationships with business and client partners.
·         Strong project and people management skills.  Must be able to function as a leader, individual contributor, and a collaborator.
·         Experience designing solutions for the Financial Services Industry would be considered an asset.
·         CTDP Designation considered an asset.
